  • 6 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion, sauteed in bacon grease
  • 6 large red skin potatoes, cooked and cubed
  • 3/4 to 1 c. water
  • 1 3/4 c. milk or half and half
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • salt and pepper to taste
