- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 3 c. sugar
- 3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. sweet milk
- 6 eggs
- 1 tsp. lemon flavoring
Directions

1Separate egg whites and beat until stiff.

2Set aside.

3Cream together first 3 ingredients.

4Add egg yolks one at a time, then flour and baking powder alternately with milk.

5Add flavoring. Bake in tube pan at 325° for 1 hour and 10 minutes.

6Cool ten minutes, take out of pan and add glaze.
