  • 2 sticks butter, softened
  • 1/2 c. Crisco shortening
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 tsp. pure lemon extract
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 1 can 7-Up

Directions

    Cream together butter, Crisco and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time.

    Add lemon extract. Add flour and 7-Up alternately.

    Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 300° for 1 1/2 hours or until done.
