  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1/2 c. Crisco shortening
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 5 large eggs
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. milk
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon flavoring

Directions

    Melt margarine, mix with Crisco and sugar, add eggs and beat well.

    Sift in dry ingredients while continuing to mix.

    Add milk and lemon flavoring.

    Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
