  • 3 Tbsp. soft butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 egg yolks
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • grated rind of 1 lemon
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 egg whites, beaten stiff

Directions

    Cream sugar and butter.

    Add flour, beaten yolks, grated rind, juice and milk.

    Mix well.

    Fold egg whites into mixture.

    Pour into greased 1-quart casserole dish; set in pan of hot water. Bake at 325° for 1 hour.
