- 1 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. flour (level)
- 1/3 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 2 egg yolks, beaten well
- 1 lemon (juice and a little rind)
- 2 egg whites, beaten stiff
Directions

1Mix flour, sugar and salt together.

2Add well-beaten egg yolks.

3Add lemon and milk; mix well.

4Fold in beaten egg whites. Set dish in pan of warm water.

5Bake like custard for about 35 minutes at 350°.

6This recipe forms a little light cake on top and a smooth delicious sauce underneath.

7Serve cold with whipped cream or just plain.
