Ingredients
- 2 cups Basamati Rice
- 4 cups water
- 4-5 tsp oil
- 1 tsp mustard seed
- 3 tsp red lentils (channa dhal)
- 2 tsp green lentils ( bead dhal)
- 4-5 red chilies (break open)
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 3-4 tsp lemon juice
- 1 handful peanuts
Directions

1- Cook rice and let it cool down
-
2- Heat oil in medium pan (low to medium heat)
-
3- Add peanuts when oil is hot ( when you add a peanut you will see small bubbles around it)

4- Remove the peanuts when they are 1/2 brown
-
5- To the same oil add mustard seeds, lentils and chillis. Red lentil start to turn light brown and mustard seeds pop

6- Mix rice in bowl ( make loose with a large spoon)

7- Add mixture to rice, mix
-
8- Add Lemon juice, mix
-
9- Add Salt and mix
