  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. hot water
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. lemon rind

    Cook first 4 ingredients over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture is clear (about 10 minutes).

    Remove from heat; add lemon juice, rind and butter.
