- 3 lemons for zest 2 T
- 2 1/2 cups self rising flour
- 1+ cups sugar
- 6 T butter broken into small piece
- 1/4t salt
- Cranberries dried
- Pecan pieces
- Extra flour for dusting work place and hands
- 1 egg plus extra yolk
Directions

1Preheat oven to 430* F

2Prepare cookie sheet with parchment paper.

3Mix first 5 ingredients in food processor

4Add cranberries and pecans

5Mix then add egg

6Put out 1/2 mixture onto floured surface. Flour hands and make a round shape about 1/4 inch in thickness

7Using a cutter, cut out rounds to make 16 scones.

8Place on prepared cookie sheet and bake for about 10-12 minutes.

9Do the same with rest of batter.
