  • 3 lemons for zest 2 T
  • 2 1/2 cups self rising flour
  • 1+ cups sugar
  • 6 T butter broken into small piece
  • 1/4t salt
  • Cranberries dried
  • Pecan pieces
  • Extra flour for dusting work place and hands
  • 1 egg plus extra yolk

    Preheat oven to 430* F

    Prepare cookie sheet with parchment paper.

    Mix first 5 ingredients in food processor
  4. 4
    Add cranberries and pecans
  5. 5
    Mix then add egg
  6. 6
    Put out 1/2 mixture onto floured surface. Flour hands and make a round shape about 1/4 inch in thickness

    Using a cutter, cut out rounds to make 16 scones.

    Place on prepared cookie sheet and bake for about 10-12 minutes.

    Do the same with rest of batter.
