- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 2 eggs, separated
- juice of 1 lemon
- 2 c. milk
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Add flour and beaten egg yolks.

3Add juice and milk; mix well.

4Beat egg whites until stiff; fold into mixture.

5Bake in glass pie plate so you can see the bottom to check for browning.

6Bake on lower rack at 425° for 20 minutes. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.

7Check for brownness.

8Test along edge with butter knife; if it comes out clean, it is done.
