- 1/2 teaspoons Turmeric Powder
- 1 whole Lemon, Juiced
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 2 teaspoons Oil
- 1 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
- 1 teaspoon Urad Dal
- 1 teaspoon Bengal Gram
- 2 whole Red Chilies
- 1/4 teaspoons Asafoetida
- 5 whole Curry Leaves
- 2 cups Cooked Rice String Hopper
Directions

1In a small bowl, add turmeric powder, lemon juice and salt.

2Mix well with a fork.

3Heat oil in a pan over medium high heat.

4Then add mustard seeds.

5When they start to pop and splutter, add the urad dal, bengal gram, red chilies, asafoetida and curry leaves.

6Saute for a minute until the dal turns golden brown.

7Lower heat to a medium flame, add the lemon juice mix (lemon juice,turmeric powder and salt) give a quick stir and add the rice string hopper.

8Mix well and cook for 1 min and Turn off the stove.

9Serve hot with coconut chutney or dip.

10Tips: Use green chillies instead of red chillies for extra spiciness.

11Adjust salt and lemon juice according to your taste.

12Add nuts of your choice like peanuts, cashews etc.
