- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. milk
- 2/3 c. finely chopped toasted almonds
- 2/3 c. sifted powdered sugar
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Directions

1Beat cream cheese and butter at high speed of electric mixer until creamy.

2Gradually add sugar, beating well.

3Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.

4Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add to cream cheese mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture.

5Mix after each addition.

6Stir in almonds.
