- 3/4 to 1 c sugar
- 1 c water (for syrup)
- 1 c lemon juice
- 3 to 4 c cold water (to dilute)
Directions

1Make a simple syrup by heating the sugar and water in a small saucepan until the sugar is dissolved.

2While the sugar is dissolving, juice 4 to 6 lemons, enough for one cup of juice.

3Add the juice and sugar water to a pictcher.

4Add 3 to 4 cups of cold water.

5Refrigerate 30 to 40 minutes.

6If too sweet, add a little more straight lemon juice.

7Serve with ice and sliced lemons
