  • 2 cups Jasmine Rice
  • 1-3/4 cup Cold Water
  • 1 whole Lemongrass Stem
  • 1/2 teaspoons Lemon Zest
  • 1/2 Tablespoons Salt
  • 1 leaf Bay Leaf
  • 1/2 cups Green Onion, Chopped, For Garnish (optional)

Directions

    Combine rice, water, lemongrass, lemon zest, salt and bay leaf in a pot and bring to boil over high heat. Once the water boils, reduce heat to medium low. Cover and simmer until rice is tender (timing according to package instructions) and liquid is absorbed.

    Remove from heat and let it sit covered for 5 minutes.

    Discard lemongrass and bay leaf and garnish with chopped green onion.
