Ingredients
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 2 c. cooked, drain lentils
- 1/2 c. whole wheat bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. walnuts or sunflower seeds
- 1/2 tsp. sage or thyme
- 2 Tbsp. whole wheat flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 c. broth or water
- 2 tsp. vinegar
- 2 tsp. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. toasted sesame seed
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Saute onion in oil until slightly browned.

3Mix ingredients except sesame seed and place in a greased loaf pan.

4Sprinkle top with seed.

5Bake 30 minutes, covered, then 10 minutes, uncovered.

6Can be shaped into patties and cooked on griddle instead.
