- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 c. warm water
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 3 c. self-rising flour
- 4 Tbsp. Crisco
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Mix all ingredients together; as you do for biscuit dough.

3Put wax paper and then a towel over bowl.

4Let stand and rise for 1 1/2 hours.

5Knead dough until stiff, using 1/2 cup flour.

6Place in a greased loaf pan.

7Brush with melted butter and let rise for 2 hours.

8Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
