Light Lime Broiled Chicken

- 1/2 c. lime juice
- 1 onion, quartered
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves
- 4 chicken breast halves, skinned
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- lettuce leaves
- lime slices for garnish
Directions

1Combine lime juice, garlic, onion and basil in a small dish. Pour over chicken breasts.

2Cover and marinate 30 to 60 minutes. Turn chicken over once.

3Place chicken on rack in broiler pan (reserve marinade).

4Broil 5 to 6 inches from heat source for 15 minutes.

5Baste twice with marinade.

6Turn chicken and repeat. Chicken is done when it is brown and juices run clear when meat is pierced.

7Can use grill in place of oven.
