- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 5 Tbsp. Crisco oil
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. water, warm
- 2 c. warm milk
- 5 to 6 c. plain flour
Directions

1Combine the first 5 ingredients; let stand until yeast is dissolved.

2Mix all ingredients well together.

3Put stiff dough on floured surface and knead well.

4Roll out dough and cut with biscuit cutter.

5Put into oiled pans to rise 2 hours, then bake at 375° until golden brown.
