- 1 c. milk
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. shortening
- plain flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm milk.

2Add salt, sugar and shortening. Mix well.

3Add enough flour until dough is stiff.

4Cover.

5Set aside in a warm place until it doubles in size.

6Knead dough on floured wax paper.

7Shape or cut into rolls and place in a greased pan.

8Let rise in a warm place.

9Bake in 375° oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
