- 2 to 3 lb. ham ends
- 1 onion
- 2 whole potatoes
- 1 c. lima beans
- 3/4 c. celery
- 2 carrots
- 2 Tbsp. catsup
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Place ham ends, peeled carrots, onion and potatoes (whole) in a pot and boil for 1 hour.

2Remove ham.

3Rub vegetables through a strainer.

4Cut up ham and return all ingredients to stock.

5Add lima beans which have been soaked in water for 12 hours.

6Add celery; cook 1 hour.

7Add catsup, salt and pepper.
