- 1 hambone/hock
- 6 qt. water
- 2 ribs celery
- 1 carrot, sliced thin
- 2 small onions, chopped
- 1 (30 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1/2 c. barley
- 1 lb. dry lima beans
- 2 diced potatoes
Directions

1Soak beans overnight.

2Cook hambone with water and tomatoes for 1 hour.

3Add barley, veggies and beans.

4Cook until tender (about 2 hours) on low heat.

5(May need to add additional water.)
