- salt pork or bacon (size of your choice)
- 1 stalk celery, diced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 clove garlic, diced
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Partially cook salt pork covered with water. Drain if water is salty.

2Add more hot water. Set aside.

3Soak limas for about 10 minutes.

4Heat until boiling; turn off heat.

5Combine salt pork and limas. Add seasonings, celery, onion and garlic. Cook until tender.
