- 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 c. water
Directions

1Heat until sugar is thoroughly melted but do not boil.

2Let get very cold.

3Cube melon and pour syrup over it.

4Crumple waxed paper and put on top to hold melon down in syrup.

5Put top on and seal tightly.

6This makes enough for 5 cups.

7Use 2/3 cup in each container.

8Use only firm melon.
