Lime Bavarian Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 large box lime jello
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple, drained (reserve juice)
  • 2 c. cream
  • 6 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 c. chopped nuts (optional)
  • cut up cherries (optional)

Directions

    Dissolve lime jello and salt into 2 cups boiling water.

    Drain and reserve juice from crushed pineapple.

    Combine reserved pineapple juice and enough water to make 2 cups.

    Add to jello mixture; chill until slightly thickened.

    Whip the cream.

    Fold into jello with sugar and the drained pineapple.

    Chill.

    If desired, blend in nuts and cherries.
