- 7 lb. cucumbers
- 2 c. lime
- 8 c. sugar
- 8 c. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. pickling spice tied in cloth
Directions

1Combine cucumbers and lime; cover with water all day or night. Rinse the lime from cucumbers and soak in ice water 3 hours; drain. Mix sugar, vinegar, salt and spices and pour over cucumbers; let stand overnight.

2Cook over medium heat and bring to boil; boil 35 minutes and put into jars.

3Makes 7 quarts.
