- 7 lb. cucumbers
- 2 c. lime
- 2 gal. water
- 2 qt. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 4 1/2 lb. sugar
- pickling spice
Directions

1Slice cucumbers.

2Cover 1/4-inch with a solution of lime in water for 24 hours.

3Rinse cucumbers well and cover with fresh water for 3 hours.

4Drain and cover with vinegar, salt, sugar and pickling spice.

5Soak overnight.

6Then boil 40 minutes and pack and seal in jars.
