- 7 c. sliced cucumbers
- 2 gal. water
- 2 c. dry lime
- 1/2 gal. vinegar minus 1 c.
- 4 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
Directions

1Mix the lime, water and cucumbers in container.

2Can use a plastic bucket with good results.

3Let stand 24 hours.

4Then, wash at least 5 times in cold water and cover with fresh water.

5Let stand for 3 hours and drain.

6Add vinegar, sugar and salt.

7Mix well.

8Add cucumbers and let stand for another 24 hours.

9Heat for 35 minutes; place in jars and seal.
