- 12 cup fresh lime juice
- 2 teaspoons freshly grated lime peel
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 4 (5 -6 ounce) chicken breasts
- 1 lime, thinly sliced
Directions

1Combine lime juice, lime peel, garlic, oregano, thyme and pepper to taste.

2Pour over chicken breasts in a large bowl, turning the chicken to coat.

3Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, turning every so often.

4Preheat grill to medium (300 degrees -350 degrees ).

5Remove chicken from marinade.

6If you wish to use the marinade as a sauce, boil it in a saucepan first.

7Place chicken on grill, on direct heat until grill marks appear, about 10-12 minutes each side.

8Remove and let stand for at least 5 minutes.

9Serve with lime slices.
