- 2 pounds lemons
- 35 ounces vodka
- 2 pounds sugar
- 35 ounces water
Directions

1Peel all the skins off of the lemons.

2Only the yellow part should be peeled.

3Add the lemon peels to the alcohol, and keep for 3 to 4 days in a cool place.

4Once the alcohol has been infused with the lemon peels, remove the peels from the alcohol.

5In a separate bowl or glass container, mix the sugar and water together.

6Add the infused alcohol to the sugar and water mixture.

7This will turn a beautiful bright yellow color.

8Keep the limoncello in the freezer.

9Serve it with any dessert or special occasion.
