- 2/3 c. shortening
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 c. lukewarm water
- 6 to 8 c. flour
Directions

1Put all in a bowl; add flour last as it may not take 8 cups. Stir well; put in refrigerator until ready to use.

2Roll out and dip in butter.

3Let rise until ready to bake, about 1 hour.

4Bake about 20 minutes at 350°.
