- 1 Tbsp. clam juice (optional)
- 1 tsp. sweet basil leaves
- 1/2 stick butter
- 3 Tbsp. oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 small onions, minced
- lots of parsley
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
Directions

1In pan, simmer butter, oil, garlic, onion and parsley; add clams, juice and basil.

2Simmer; never bring to boil.

3To remaining juice from can of clams, add cornstarch.

4Pour into mixture and stir.

5Pour over cooked linguini to serve.
