Ingredients
- 3 c. diced roma tomatoes
- 2 Tbsp. fresh chopped garlic
- 2 Tbsp. cold butter
- 4 Tbsp. olive oil
- 5 leaves fresh basil or 1/4 tsp. dried basil
- 1/3 c. chicken broth, water or vegetarian broth
- 1 lb. dried linguini or 1 pkg. fresh linguini, cooked and drained
- pinch of salt (optional)
Directions

1In a 10 to 12-inch saucepan, melt butter and olive oil over medium heat for one minute.

2Add garlic and simmer for one more minute.

3Add tomatoes and basil to pan and sauce for four minutes. Add chicken broth and simmer for four minutes until sauce thickens.

4Add your linguini, toss and serve on platter.

5Will feed four people.

6Romano cheese over top, optional.
