- 3 sticks lite butter or margarine
- 3 c. powdered sugar
- 5 eggs
- 3 c. sifted cake flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cocoa
- 1/2 c. canned milk
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 tsp. vanilla flavor
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar together.

2Add eggs, unbeaten, one at a time.

3Sift dry ingredients 3 times.

4Combine milk, water and vanilla flavoring.

5Alternate liquid and dry ingredients, adding to creamed mixture.

6Pour into greased and floured cake pan and bake at 350° for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
