- 1 lb. beef liver
- 1 lb. stew beef
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 tbsp. basil
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- water
Directions

1Boil liver, stew meat in enough water to cover well until tender.

2Remove liver to medium bow, mash with a fork.

3Add flour. onion, salt, and basil, mix well with enough cold water to make a soft dough.

4Drop by tsp. into pot of boiling broth with stew beef.

5Cook uncovered on medium heat about 20 minutes.

6Serve hot.
