Lo-Cal Apple Pie

- 4 (16 oz.) medium Granny Smith (green) apples
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- dash of nutmeg
- 2 (9-inch) pie shells
Directions

1Peel and core apples and let them sit for 10 minutes.

2Mix sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg in a small bowl.

3In one pie shell, place apples in shell and pour sugar mixture over apples evenly.

4Place other pie shell on top and sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg on top and cut holes to vent in top crust.

5Press edges of pie shells together.

6Bake at 350° for about 45 minutes.
