- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1 tsp. flavoring extract (peppermint, cinnamon or vanilla)
- liquid food colors
Directions

1Line 2 cookie sheets with foil.

2Lightly grease.

3Arrange lollipop sticks (15) or oiled cookie cutters about 4 inches apart. Put first 3 ingredients in 2-quart microwave bowl.

4Put in microwave, uncovered, on High for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes until margarine melts.

5Stir in flavoring and color.

6Microwave on High 5 to 5 1/2 minutes until candy thermometer registers 270° to 290° or a small amount of syrup dropped into cold water separates into threads that are hard.

7For round lollipops, drop 1 tablespoon syrup over end of stick.

8Let cool completely.

9For shaped lollipops pour into cookie cutters.
