- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 1 pt. milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. lard
- 1 tsp. salt
- 6 c. flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in water.

2Heat milk to boiling point.

3Add sugar, lard and salt to hot milk.

4Let cool to lukewarm; add yeast mix.

5Add flour.

6Cover and let rise; work down; let rise again. Roll, cut and let rise again.

7Deep fry to light golden brown. Drain on paper toweling.
