- 4 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. margarine
- 4 to 5 apples, pared and sliced thin
Directions

1Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan.

2Mix dry ingredients and add margarine.

3Blend well.

4Add eggs and mix well.

5Spread all but one cup in the pan.

6Use a wet spoon and push in place.

7Place apples in rows on the dough, not too many (makes the dough soggy). Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon.

8Form the last dough and rub between hands over the apples.

9Bake at 350° until the apples are soft, about 30 to 40 minutes.
