- 1 medium cabbage, shredded
- 2 pkg. beef bones
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 c. green onions
- 1 c. green bell pepper
- 1 c. chopped celery
- seasoning to taste
Directions

1Place beef bones in large pot with water to cover.

2Let them boil with some of the same seasoning until tender.

3Remove meat from bones.

4Put meat in pot with stock from meat, about 2 cups of more.

5Add the cabbage and more seasoning, if needed.

6Cook 3 or 4 minutes.

7Very good with hot water cornbread with jalapeno peppers.
