- 1 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 3/4 cup cornmeal
- 1/4 cup Sugar replacement that measures like sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/4 cup applesauce
- 1 egg
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400F

2Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl.

4In a separate bowl, whisk all wet ingredients together.

5Pour wet ingredients in bowl with dry ingredients.

6Stir until just combined.

7Pour into greased muffin pan, bread pan, or round cake pan.

8Bake for 20 to 30 minutes.

9I like mine served with butter and a drizzle of honey.
