- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 1/2 c. rolled oats
- 2 egg whites
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1/3 c. cooking oil
- 1/2 c. skim milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. raisins
Directions

1Sift flour, soda, salt and cinnamon together.

2Stir into oats. Beat egg whites with a fork and then combine with sugar, oil, milk, vanilla and raisins.

3Lastly, combine with flour mixture; mix well.

4Drop by teaspoon on oiled cookie sheet.

5Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 350°.

6Makes 3 dozen.

7Shorter baking time makes for a chewy cookie.

8Bake longer and they are crisp.
