  • 1 lb. pkg. ground round
  • 1 large bell pepper
  • 2 large onions
  • 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • 2 cans tomatoes, crushed and drained
  • 1 can pinto beans
  • 1 can navy beans
  • 2 cans red kidney beans
  • shredded no-fat Cheddar cheese (if desired)

Directions

    In a large pot, brown ground round; stir in chopped onions and pepper and brown until onions are transparent.

    Add chili powder; stir and add tomatoes and beans.

    Cook on low heat approximately 1 1/2 hours.

    Top with shredded cheese if desired.
