Low-Fat Lasagna

  • 1 lb. 93% lean ground beef
  • 1 lb. 93% ground turkey
  • 12 oz. Alpine Lace fat-free Mozzarella
  • 1 1/2 c. nonfat cottage cheese
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 to 2 tsp. black pepper
  • 4 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz. pkg. lasagna noodles
  • 1 medium jar spaghetti sauce

Directions

    In saucepan, brown both meats and drain.

    Mix in spaghetti sauce and spices.

    Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions.

    In 11 x 7 x 2-inch baking pan, spread 1/4 of the meat sauce.

    Layer noodles, meat sauce, cottage cheese and Parmesan cheese (alternating layers).

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until brown and bubbly.

    Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
