- 6 c. water
- salt to taste
- 1 can chicken broth
- 2/3 c. mild picante sauce
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, cut into fourths
Directions

1Slice onions and separate in rings.

2Soak in sweet milk for 1 hour or overnight, if you like.

3Make batter of Aunt Jemima pancake mix, as it says on box.

4Have the batter pretty thick. Dip onion rings one at a time in the batter and drop in hot deep fry grease.

5Drain on paper towels.
