- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef or skinless ground turkey
- 1 medium onion
- 1/2 c. celery
- green pepper (optional)
- parsley flakes (about 1 Tbsp.)
- 3 cans kidney beans
- 1 small can whole tomatoes, cut up or fresh tomatoes
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- salt (optional) and pepper to taste
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- little bit minced garlic
- little bit oregano
Directions

1Brown meat.

2Add onion, celery and pepper.

3Simmer a few minutes. Keep stirring every few minutes as it burns quickly.

4Add all the other ingredients and simmer on low heat about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

5Taste to see if you have enough seasonings.
