Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef or skinless ground turkey
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/2 c. celery
  • green pepper (optional)
  • parsley flakes (about 1 Tbsp.)
  • 3 cans kidney beans
  • 1 small can whole tomatoes, cut up or fresh tomatoes
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • salt (optional) and pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • little bit minced garlic
  • little bit oregano

Directions

    Brown meat.

    Add onion, celery and pepper.

    Simmer a few minutes. Keep stirring every few minutes as it burns quickly.

    Add all the other ingredients and simmer on low heat about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

    Taste to see if you have enough seasonings.
