- 1 c. oleo
- 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 6 qt. popped corn
- 1/2 to 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Heat oven to 250°.

2Spread corn in two pans.

3Melt oleo and stir in brown sugar and salt.

4Boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

5Add vanilla and soda.

6Pour over corn.

7Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

8Let cool and store in plastic bags that seal well.
