  • 3 cups Elbow Macaroni, I Did Whole Wheat
  • 1 pound Hamburger
  • 1/2 whole Onion, Chopped
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cups Flour
  • 1 cup Milk, Or More As Needed
  • 2 cups Shredded Velveeta Cheese

Directions

    Prepare macaroni in a large pot, according to package directions.

    Then drain pasta and rinse with cool water.

    Put the same large pot, which is now empty, over medium heat.

    Add hamburger, onions and salt and pepper to taste.

    Cook until meat is browned and onions are soft.

    Drain off the grease.

    Sprinkle flour over beef and add milk and cheese.

    Heat it and stir to thicken, adding more milk as necessary to maintain a creamy consistency.

    Add in rinsed pasta and stir well.

    Add more milk as needed to create a nice moist, cheesy dish.
