  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 (15 1/2 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
  • 1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • salt and pepper to taste

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    In a large skillet, brown beef.

    Remove meat; set aside.

    In same skillet, saute onion in butter until onion is translucent.

    Drain fat.
