- 1/2 lb. elbow macaroni
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 c. grated sharp cheese
- 1 c. milk
Directions

1Cook macaroni until tender and drain thoroughly.

2Stir in egg and butter.

3Mix mustard and salt with 1 tablespoon hot water and then add to macaroni.

4Add cheese, reserving small amount to sprinkle over top.

5Mix and pour into buttered casserole dish. Add milk.

6Sprinkle top with cheese.

7Cover and bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until custard is set and top is crusty.
