Appetizer-Sausage Roll

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. sausage (mild or hot)
  • 1 (8 oz.) brick cream cheese
  • 2 pkg. crescent rolls
  • sesame or poppy seed (optional)

Directions

    Fry and crumble sausage; drain well.

    Add cream cheese to sausage; melt and stir in well.

    Open 1 package rolls.

    Take half of dough and press seams together.

    Put half of sausage mixture on dough and top with other half of dough, which you have pressed the seams together on.

    Repeat with other package of rolls.

    Makes 2 rolls.

    Sprinkle rolls with seed, if desired.

    Bake at 350° until rolls are browned.

    Slice and serve.
